Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any services provided by RT STUDIOS LLC(“RT Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including booking and purchasing photography services with Black Lace Boudoir / Black Lace Studios. These Terms also govern service-related communications between you and RT Studios, including email and SMS/text messages. By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, booking a session, or purchasing products/services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.

1) Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You will not attempt to disrupt the site, access restricted areas, or misuse the site in any way.

2) Intellectual Property

All content on this website – including text, images, branding, logos, graphics, and design – is owned by or licensed to RT Studios and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or exploit any portion of this website without written permission.

3) Booking, Payments, and Client Agreements

Booking a session may require signing additional documents, including (as applicable) a client contract, product agreement, and/or model release. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed client contract, the signed contract will control for that booking.

Retainers / Session Fees
• A non-refundable retainer (and/or session fee) may be required to reserve your date and time.
• Retainers are applied as outlined in your booking documents.
• Your booking is not confirmed until the retainer is paid (and any required paperwork is completed).

Payment Plans
If you choose a payment plan, you agree to pay according to the stated schedule. Late or failed payments may result in paused services, paused ordering, or cancellation of delivery until the account is brought current.

Pricing
Prices, products, collections, and offerings may change at any time. However, confirmed bookings will follow the pricing and terms agreed upon at the time of booking (unless you later request changes).

4) Rescheduling, Cancellations, and No-Shows

We allow clients to reschedule at any time; however, rescheduling/cancellation fees apply based on how close the request is to the session date. These fees are in addition to any forfeited amounts described below and must be paid before a new date is confirmed.

• General policy: If the client requests to cancel or reschedule, the session fee/retainer paid to secure the date is forfeited. A rescheduling/cancellation fee of $250 is required.
• If the client requests to cancel or reschedule 30 days or less prior to the session date, all amounts paid are forfeited. A rescheduling/cancellation fee of $350 is required. A new date will be offered should the client request to reschedule.
• If the client requests to cancel or reschedule within 7 days of the session, the client will be considered a last-minute cancellation and will result in a $600 fee automatically charged to the card on file. This fee also applies to any cancellations made within 48 hours or less of the scheduled start time for the shoot, or no-shows.

Rescheduling is subject to studio availability. Multiple reschedules may require additional fees and/or updated pricing.

5) Turnaround Times and Delivery

Turnaround times for galleries, reveals, albums, prints, and products are estimates and may vary due to workload, vendor timelines, holidays, or circumstances outside our control. We will communicate any meaningful delays.

6) Artistic Style and Editing

By booking, you acknowledge you are hiring RT Studios for our artistic style, posing guidance, lighting, and editing approach.
• We do not guarantee replication of another photographer’s style.
• Unedited/RAW files are not delivered.
• Minor retouching requests may be considered within reasonable limits.

7) Client Responsibility

You agree to provide accurate information, arrive on time, and follow studio instructions for safety and workflow. Late arrival may reduce shooting time without refund.

Age Requirement (18+)
All clients must be 18 years of age or older to book or participate in any photography services with RT Studios. We do not photograph minors for boudoir services. A valid government-issued photo ID may be required to confirm age.

8) Copyright and Client Usage

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
• RT Studios retains the copyright to all images created.
• Clients receive a personal-use license for purchased images.

You may not:
• Sell images.
• Use images for commercial/advertising purposes without written permission.
• Remove watermarks (if applicable).
• Alter images with heavy filters/edits that misrepresent the work (please contact us if you need a specific crop or platform-friendly version).

9) Privacy, Model Release, and Sharing Images

Your privacy matters. Any public sharing of client images is governed by your signed model release (if any) and the selections/permissions you grant.
• If you do not sign a model release, we will not publicly share identifying images of you except as required by law.
• If you do sign a model release, the scope of allowed use will follow the release terms (and any limitations you select, if offered).

10) Third-Party Services

We may use third-party providers (for example: scheduling platforms, payment processors, online galleries, album/print labs, and SMS/communications providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, or outages. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.

11) Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide your phone number to RT Studios, you authorize us to contact you via SMS/text message for service-related purposes only, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling updates, and time-sensitive session communications.

We do not send promotional or marketing text messages. Message frequency varies based on your booking. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Opting out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or email info@blacklaceboudoir.com. Opting out may limit our ability to provide time-sensitive updates via text.

No third-party sharing (SMS exception): We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share limited information only with service providers necessary to operate our business (including SMS/communications providers) so they can deliver messages and services on our behalf.
