Bridal Boudoir is the NEW trend, and every bride is searching to find someone to capture her radiant beauty in the most stunning way possible. When Kelly’s wedding photographer and owner of Nugen Media reached out to me asking if I would be interested in working with his bride I of course immediately said yes! So I reached out to Ms. K to chat with her about her special day and how we could bring her gift ideas to life!
Seven months later Ms. K came out to the studio driving roughly 3 hours to get to us here in Fredericksburg. She had struggled a bit to find pieces that she loved and as many women know each body is unique so it can be a daunting task to find clothes let alone lingerie. Like every client of ours, they reach out to us for reassurance, encouragement and even sometimes advice. It is our job to be there for you along the way! I then referred her to a charming lingerie boutique in downtown D.C called Le Bustiere Boutique. There she received personalized assistance in helping her finds the perfect sets to complete her look for her boudoir shoot with us. 3. What made you decide to take a leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
I knew how much my fiance would love it; there was never a doubt in my mind that I wanted to do one! It also gave me a good excuse to buy some fancy pieces for our honeymoon/start of married life! I also knew that the pictures would make me feel gorgeous!
4. Did you have any obstacles or fears about boudoir?
My only fear going in was just about the insecurities I have with my own body. Good thing Rami knows the perfect way to pose you!
5. What was your favorite part about the entire experience?
It was awesome how Rami showed me the pictures DURING the shoot. She would take one and get so excited about it and show me, and then I would get equally as excited!
6. How did you feel when you saw your photographs?
I WAS SO HAPPY AND RELIEVED!! I really had no idea what to expect. Although It’s hard to get over yourself and so easy to judge every little thing about you, overall the pictures were so gorgeous and perfect.
7. Any advice for women interested in their own boudoir session?
DO IT!! And DO IT NOW!!! I already want to do another one!
8. Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of the session?
I definitely was shocked at how I looked in the pictures, it does do a lot to change your perspective.
