3. What made you decide to take a leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
It’s now or never! And to help feel beautiful in my skin again!
4. Did you have any obstacles or fears about boudoir?
Looking fat. Not doing good photos for Rami.
5. Was the session different from what you expected it to be?
Didn’t know what to expect lol
6. What was your favorite part of the entire experience?
Talking and laughing with Rami along with all the encouragement that I was doing great!
7. How did you feel when you saw your photographs?
I was in shock that is was really me! It felt so good to look at myself and truly smile.
8. Any advice for women interested in their own boudoir session?
There will always be an excuse as to why not! Don’t let excuses get in the way, express yourself creatively and embrace the beauty within you. It’s so worth it! Life is short, so it NOW!
9. Did anything change the way you see your own beauty as a result of the session?
Absolutely, I felt like I got my sexy back. I felt empowered and proud.

Where to begin… there are many chapters to my story. I’ll try to condense it lol! I was born in California But, moved to VA when I was 8yrs old and been here ever since. I have endured many struggles in my life from sexual & verbal abuse starting at a very young age, and my mom was mentally ill during my four years in high school. So my brother and I were moved around to different families while she was hospitalized during that time. Had to grow up fast to care for my brother. This led me down a road I am so happy to be in recovery from… drug addiction. I remember waking up one day and saying it was enough! Enough being the victim and feeling sorry for myself, so I got help. Years of help to get me to where I am at today. I have a beautiful family, hubby I have known for almost 27yrs, a daughter, and a son. I put myself through Massage Therapy School & Esthetics School. I wanted to give back to people and help them feel good about themselves inside and out! I now own my own Spa which is a dream come true! I have learned many lessons in life some of them a few times over haha! I keep my circle small these days and believe in quality over quantity. I live every day at least try to, to better myself for my family and me. I love what I do for a living and feel blessed to have found my calling. I try to stay in a positive state of mind although not always easy as I am very hard on myself. Being a mom and wife definitely did not come with a manual, but with that, I love hard, I’m compassionate, loyal, honest, understanding, and committed! I’m a free spirit at heart, and I have finally embraced that and don’t let others control my emotions by beating me down. I’m a survivor. I realized you have a choice to be happy or not. I am choosing happy, to show love where others show hate, to be supportive of my circle but not enable. I’m a work in progress… and that’s ok with me!
