Meet the lovely Miss D. Another gorgeous photographer that I had the pleasure of meeting along my photography travels for some Valentine’s Day boudoir. I am always so honored to work with other photographers who love my work as much as I do and want their photographs taken. D was nervous at first since this was her first Boudoir session EVER. I had a blast coaching her into different poses and before the end D was placing herself in poses she felt comfortable in as well. I always get giddy when my clients finally get that “Model feel” and they start striking poses for me to photograph. Nothing says “Happy Valentine’s Day” like that model level of self-assuredness! Is there anything better than seeing your client gain more confidence before the end of the session? <3
One of the best things about what I do is getting to provide a safe space for women to achieve that confidence and self-esteem boost. It is such a blast getting to reveal their own beauty and power to each client at the end of a photoshoot! To get to see yourself elevated with professional lighting, camera, wardrobe, hair, and makeup is a beautiful thing. This is why we believe at Black Lace every woman should have this experience at least once in her lifetime!
