Are you wondering, “Do I have to share my boudoir photos?” The short answer is no! Your boudoir photos are your own. Boudoir photography is all about the beauty of women. Whether you’re going for a simple and tasteful session or something more risqué, it’s important to know your rights when it comes to sharing your boudoir photos.
At Black Lace Boudoir, we respect your privacy and do not require clients to share their images. Boudoir is a personal experience, and you’re in control of how you share it.
You are in control of your photos
We do not require any of our clients to share their boudoir photos, and we respect the privacy of each client. Some clients share their boudoir photos with their partner, friends, or family members, but the decision to share your boudoir photos is yours and yours alone. We are not a company that requires our clients to share their intimate images and believe in the power of choice!
If you’re comfortable sharing your photo sessions – we support it! If you’d rather keep them private, that’s ok too. After all, these pictures are for you – not for us!
We do offer 3 different types of permissions.
- Full permission: We use your photos in our portfolio, and social media.
- Anonymous: Clients who would like to show their images, but don’t want to be identified. These are typically for our Tushy Tuesday shots, or detailed images. We do not show the client’s face and they can also request no identifying features to be shown (such as tattoos).
- No permission: We will not share or use your photos in any way, shape, or form.
Your privacy is our top priority
We do not share your photos with anyone (unless you give permission). Your photos are personal to you, and we always acknowledge their sensitivity.
We understand that the process of getting a boudoir session can be intimidating. That’s why we try to make sure that all of our clients feel comfortable with the entire process from start to finish and will never use your photos in any way without your explicit permission.
We want you to feel comfortable during your boudoir experience
At Black Lace Boudoir we are all about empowering you to feel your best and want you to feel comfortable from start to finish during your boudoir experience. We understand that this is a very personal and intimate activity which is why we don’t require you to share your photos, and we will do everything in our power to make sure that you feel at ease with us.
We encourage open conversation between you and our professional boudoir photographer, Rami. Rami will guide you through various poses while capturing flattering images that accentuate your unique beauty. Rami will also teach you how to pose for even more flattering results.
This session is about you – nobody else!
You’re the star of this show. We won’t rush you or make you feel uncomfortable. We want to make sure you feel relaxed, beautiful, and empowered throughout the entire boudoir session. You are in charge of your boudoir session, so if there’s anything that may be bothering you will do whatever it takes to help you feel at ease!
We want you to feel safe and secure during and after your session, which is why we offer the same-day reveal – so you can see your photos right away. We’ll help you choose the images that make you feel good, inside and out. You have complete control over your photos, which ones you choose to receive, and IF you decide to share them.

If I give permission to use my boudoir photos, where will you use them?
If you give us permission to use your boudoir photos, we’ll use them in our portfolio, which we use to promote our business and attract new clients. They’ll also be used for marketing purposes (social media posts, blog posts, newsletters.)
We appreciate it when clients share their experiences with others and spread the word about the services we offer. However, If you’re worried about privacy or safety issues—or if sharing just isn’t your thing—we completely understand and won’t pressure or try to convince you otherwise!
What happens to my boudoir pictures after the session?
As a professional photographer, I know how important it is to make sure your photos are protected and stored in a safe place. That’s why we only keep photos for 3 months after your session. When that time period has passed, we will delete all photos from our servers.
We put all boudoir photos onto a physical USB and not on the ‘cloud’. This way there is no possible way for your photos to be leaked online.
Do you offer digital copies?
Digital images are offered with some of our collections starting with our Emerald Collection. We do not offer them as an a la carte option.
