I have been photographing Marchae since I first starting photographing people (I use to take nature photos before starting Black Lace Boudoir!) I photographed her when she was pregnant back in 2011. I was so excited when she contacted me for a boudoir session. She was super nervous when she came into the studio but relaxed a little after I got her laughing, and boy did she laugh pretty much the entire time, and apparently I am pretty darn funny!
I provide my clients with chocolate cover strawberries (cupcakes or truffles) for them to snack on during their session. We of course had to have a use them as a prop because they were so pretty. Thank you to Sweets By Monique for providing us with such amazing goodies!
We had blast working together and giving her that pampering Black Lace Boudoir experience. She is a mom to two twin boys, I might add they are pretty darn adorable.
I love the fact she incorporated the black lace robe, duh.. I know but seriously it works PERFECT for her. We wanted to do something simple so she stood out, this outfit was perfect just for that. I swear that sometimes simple is much more powerful then tons of unnecessary props. I love incorporating props that have do with someone’s profession or favorite sports team etc, but realistically adding too much can take away from you.
Black Lace Boudoir is dedicated to providing luxury boudoir service for the Warrenton and Northern VA areas.
