PIN-UP STYLE SESSION
Say hello to the beautiful Ms. A!
You might remember her from a past session with us click here.
Ms. A came up from Florida to visit family and while here, she stopped by the studio for a session!
At 9 months pregnant I definitely had my work cut out for me. Ms. A was totally understanding and of course, we had a lot of laughter during her shoot. Have you ever seen pregnant women pose on her back and then try to get up? I think we should have recorded that one! We always have a lot of fun whenever she comes to town. So it only made perfect sense that we spent a great portion of her session laughing and catching up since our last time hanging out together was a couple of years ago.
MORE VINTAGE PIN-UP PLEASE!
I have always been a big fan of vintage style clothing, art, and just anything vintage honestly. If you have been following me since the beginning you might remember that I had incorporated a lot of vintage styles like posing and props into my sessions. As I began to find my unique style with my art I quickly realize that there is absolutely no right or wrong way to capture what you are passionate about. At first, when I started boudoir I wanted to stay within the lines and be simple. That worked for the time being as I build my business, but when I decided to test the waters… Well, the rest is history 😉
I have gone through many phases but I had tried my hardest to stay true to my passion of the classic Marilyn Moore like poses, styles, and art. She has always been a great inspiration to many of my ideas with my sessions and how I pose clients. Whenever someone suggests Pin-Up styles I always want to take my own spin on it and create something along those lines but be unique and different with my posing. I don’t want to blend in, I want to stand out! When people see my work they know who the artist is. That says a lot in a world that is full of new aspiring artist on social media.
“It is a lot of fun just taking an idea from something that inspires you then creating something magical with that inspiration!”
