What to expect after your session.
Phew!! We warned you that was going to be a workout, right? Just like Sexy Yoga!
But now that your session is over and you’ve chosen your photos…..what’s next?
The biggest thing after your session is to wait for your order to come in. Orders typically take 6-8 weeks after your session to arrive in the studio. As the products come in, we do a full inspection for quality and any damage. We have high standards, ya know!
As you’re waiting though, you might find that you feel like a different person. The confidence boost you get from boudoir sessions is unparalleled. You may find yourself standing a little taller. Being a little louder. Drawing a little more attention to yourself. And there is NOTHING wrong with that! You SHOULD be!
You’ve had an amazing experience centered entirely around YOU! You should be feeling absolutely beautiful!!!
Immediately After Your Session
You also might find that you’re a little sore after your session. Don’t worry, that’s completely normal! You just spent two hours arching your back and pointing your toes more than you probably ever have before! So now you need to focus on rest and healing – after all, this is a day of pampering!!!
The first suggestion we have would be to stretch! We know it’s annoying, but it’s one of the BEST things you can do for your body after all the posing you did! Warm up and stretch it out! It might hurt a little at first, but you’ll feel so much better the next day!
After that, we would suggest getting dressed up and going out! Even if it’s just for a casual dinner! Your hair and makeup look AMAZING! You should show yourself off! With that newfound confidence from the session, you’ll find that you’ll feel like a celebrity everywhere you go today! Treat yourself to your favorite meal and maybe a glass of wine (after you’ve properly hydrated!)!
Once you’re back home for the night, fill up the tub with some hot water and drop in some Epsom salts and your favorite essential oil scent. Grab a glass of ice-cold water and your current book. And relax! The hot water will help with the recovery from your sexy yoga today and it’s a great time to reflect on your session and how beautiful you look! Don’t be afraid to go ALL out with your bath! Make it as luxurious as possible – today is about pampering yourself!
After that, put on your comfiest (or sexiest) pajamas and get ready to get some of the best sleep of your life! You had a FULL day of pampering and ended it with the ultimate relaxation! You’re going to sleep like a puppy that just had its first day at the park!
The Wait
Now the only thing left to do is to keep an eye on your inbox for your “Your Order is Ready” email! Products typically take 6-8 weeks after the session to arrive and pass our inspection. We know it’s a long wait, but we promise it is SO worth it!
One great thing about waiting for your photos for that long is that you’ll sort of forget what you chose and what they looked like. Which makes your pickup kind of like a whole new reveal! We can’t tell you how many women shed happy tears during their pickup because they forgot how beautiful their photos were! How beautiful they themselves ARE! It’s one of our favorite appointments with clients.
When it’s time to pick up your order, you’ll get an email with a link to schedule your pickup. You’ll come right into the studio at your scheduled time and we will have your order set up so you can inspect everything yourself! We’ll be right there with you to make sure everything is absolutely perfect! Once we know you’re satisfied with your order, we’ll bag it all up for you (even the wall art!) and help you carry it out to your car if needed! Your order will have care instructions and protective gear for your album, so you know exactly what to do!
After that, your session is officially over!
